We are delighted to announce that this autumn we will once again be offering the popular welding workshops with craftswomen Maud Eiselsberg and Doris Kern!
Maud Eiselsberg is a skilled welder who specializes in crafting steel furniture and fixtures combined with various materials.
Doris Kern, also an accomplished welder, is a member of CraftLab, a team dedicated to historical aircraft and automobile construction. Her expertise encompasses welding, splicing, and leatherwork.
These welding workshops provide an accessible introduction to working with a welding torch and are highly suitable for beginners as well.
Costs: The welding courses with Maud and Doris are funded by the City of Vienna - Frauenservice Wien (MA 57). Therefore we can offer reduced workshop tickets for women* at 59€ instead of 79€ - while stocks last!
ABOUT THE COURSES:
MAG welding with Maud Eiselsberg and Doris Kern (dates: 16.09., 14.10, 18.11.2023, 10 am): MAG welding (metal active gas welding) is a popular welding technique that can be used to achieve great results very easily and without complications. MAG welding at Happylab uses a mixed gas of argon and CO2. It can be used to weld simple or low-alloy steel (such as structural steel).
TIG welding with Maud Eiselsberg and Doris Kern (dates: 16.09., 14.10, 18.11.2023, 2 pm): TIG (tungsten inert gas) welding is a welding process that can produce particularly high-quality welds. TIG welding at Happylab uses argon gas. It can be used to weld mild steel, stainless steel and aluminum.
