On Friday, November 29th 2024, starting 5 pm we will open the doors to the Makers' Lab Night at Happylab! Together with our great maker community, we will celebrate creative projects and offer plenty of opportunities for exchange and networking - perfect for getting in the mood for the pre-Christmas season. Mark the date in your calendar and feel free to bring friends.
No registration necessary - just come along! We look forward to an inspiring evening full of ideas and innovations!

5 - 10 pm
Open Doors! Makers’ Lab Night 2024
Around 30 makers from the Happylab community will present their creative work all evening and give you a glimpse behind the scenes of their projects! The range is huge: Among others, there are the Amalettomat, an automatic pancake robot, costume designs for the Vienna State Opera, Manoli – handmade and laser-processed leather handles for bicycles, jewelry designs by “Royal Duck by Auris Lothol”, the art installation “Decline All” and the “Marschall S Convertible Road Roller” – a self-built, 140 kg model of a steam roller.
6 pm & 9 pm
Tours of the Makerspace
All those who don't know Happylab yet will be taken on a tour of our makerspace at 6 and 9 pm! You will get to know the machines and workshop areas in which ideas become reality and find out what options there are for implementing projects yourself.
7 - 8 pm
Maker Talks
Four exciting projects - four short insights: Makers tell the audience how their ideas came about, what they learned in the process and what challenges they mastered.

Machines in Action
Our machines in live use! Two devices that make many projects at Happylab possible are demonstrated and explained. Watch, ask questions and see for yourself how ideas take shape.
The research project "All Makers*" will also be presenting itself as part of the Makers' Lab Night. With the quiz "What Kind of Maker* are you?" you can find out what type of maker you are. The results are visualized as funny, AI-supported portraits that you can print out straight away. We will then hang the unique pictures on our "Maker Wall".
