In this practical training, you will learn how to operate and use the conventional lathe at Happylab Vienna for your own projects.
You will learn:
- Clamping of turning tools
- Face turning, longitudinal turning & parting off
- Working with automatic feed
- Turning dimensions to size
- Taper turning, drilling, reaming, knurling
- Recognizing sources of danger and accident prevention
To use the lathe independently after the workshop, you need both this training and the General Safety Instruction (GSI Metal). The order in which you complete them is up to you. You do not have to have completed GSI Metall to attend the workshop.
