In this practical training, we will show you how to use the sliding table saw and surface-thickness planer at Happylab for your projects!
The woodshop at Happylab Vienna is equipped with many machines and tools for processing wood and wood composite materials: The sliding table saw allows for precise cutting of panel-shaped workpieces. The surface-thickness planer is a combined type of planer machine that can flatten, smooth, and plane solid wood to the desired thickness.
In this practical training, you will learn:
- The safe handling of the sliding table saw and surface-thickness planer,
- How to achieve good cutting and planing results.
To use the sliding table saw and surface-thickness planer independently after the workshop, you need both this training and the General Safety Instruction (GSI Wood). The order in which you complete them is up to you. You do not have to have completed GSI Wood to attend the workshop.
