Female* (and of course male!) makers watch out! We are very happy to regularly offer MAG & TIG welding courses with Maud Eiselsberg at Happylab.
Maud Eiselsberg is a locksmith and an employee at stahlwerk. She graduated as Industrial Designer at the University of Applied Arts and is involved in the construction of furnishings and furniture made of steel in combination with different materials at betonage.
Costs: The welding courses with Maud are funded by the City of Vienna - Frauenservice Wien (MA 57). Therefore we can offer reduced workshop tickets for women* at 59€ instead of 79€ - while stocks last!
The welding courses provide a low-threshold introduction to working with a welding torch and are ideally suited for beginners!
MAG welding with Maud Eiselsberg (Next date: 3.6.2023, 10 am - 1 pm): MAG welding (metal active gas welding) is a popular welding technique that can be used to achieve great results very easily and without complications. MAG welding at Happylab uses a mixed gas of argon and CO2. It can be used to weld simple or low-alloy steel (such as structural steel).
TIG welding with Maud Eiselsberg (Next date: 3.6.2023, 2 - 5 pm): TIG (tungsten inert gas) welding is a welding process that can produce particularly high-quality welds. TIG welding at Happylab uses argon gas. It can be used to weld mild steel, stainless steel and aluminum.
