3D Printer & 3D Scanner

Our 3D printers use digital templates to create three-dimensional objects out of plastic. Two different processes are available at Happylab Vienna:  3D printers using the fused deposition modeling process (FDM) heat the material and apply it layer by layer. In the stereolithography process (SLA), a light-curing plastic (synthetic resin) is cured in thin layers by a laser beam.

CNC Mill

The CNC milling machine is the right machine for all "tough cases" and large workpieces. Our 3-axis portal milling machine can process objects made of wood, plastic, metal and other materials. Circuit boards can also be drilled, milled and cut out automatically. A selection of milling cutters is available in our shop!

Cutting plotter

With the cutting plotter, motifs and lettering can be cut out of film. A small knife traces the contours of the graphic without damaging the backing paper. The machine is often used for wall tattoos, adhesive lettering or for printing on textiles. A selection of adhesive and flex foils is available in our shop!

Plastics processing

The acrylic bending machine and the vacuum former at Happylab offer two further techniques for processing plastics: With the acrylic bending machine, plastic sheets can be precisely bent and chamfered very easily. The vacuum former enables you to mold 3D objects. During vacuum forming, a heated plastic plate is sucked in by the machine's vacuum table so that the plastic adapts to the shape of the 3D model.
