On 180 m2 Happylab Salzburg provides access to numerous machines and tools - from simple screw drivers to professional 3D printers. In our free trainings we show you how to use the machines to realise your own ideas and projects.
The Laser Cutter is able to cut and engrave various materials. With its focused infrared laser beam the machine can cut fine structures out of acrylic glass, wood, cardboard, leather, fabric and many other materials. Moreover labels, signs, rubber stamps, glass and many other things can be engraved.
The 3D printer builds a three-dimensional object out of fast curing plastic. The material is heated and built up layer by layer. The prining material is plastic. Through the automatic construction of a supporting structure even overhangs can be printed without any difficulties. The 3D model has to be available in STL-format.
The CNC milling machine can cut 2D und 3D objects out of wood, plastic and metal fast and accurately. In addition, printed circuit boards can automatically be drilled, milled and cut.
With our cutting plotter any shape or text can be cut out of a vinyl film. Cutting plotters are often used for wall tattoos or stickers. Moreover textiles like T-Shirts or tote bags can be designed individually.
Our electronics workstation is equipped with soldering stations, laboratory power supply, oscilloscope, infrared rework station and more. Electronic circuits can easily be built at Happylab: After the printed circuit board is exposed, developed and etched it can be mounted using the soldering or reflow solder stations.
Our workshop is equipped with work benches and common hand tools - from screw drivers to drilling machine, cordless electric screwdriver, padsaw, angle grinder and disk-type sander.
Unser "Textile Lab" ist mit einer digitalen Stickmaschine, Nähmaschine und Overlock-Nähmaschine ausgestattet.
